Illinois Supreme Court Justice Anne M. Burke invites Illinois attorneys to participate in Pro Bono Week 2009, October 25-31, sponsored by the Chicago Bar Association and The Chicago Bar Foundation.

There are many events to participate in to celebrate Pro Bono Week. This is the first year the American Bar Association is sponsoring a National Pro Bono Celebration, inspired by the success of the the CBA/CBF's annual Pro Bono Week, launched in 2005. The Illinois State Bar Association is also recognizing Pro Bono Week and has launched a new pro bono web page.
