PILI Law Student Internship Program - Summer

PILI's Law Student Internship Program connects law students from across the country with legal service agencies in Illinois. Interns work 400 hours full-time during the summer, with PILI ensuring quality supervision by experienced agency attorneys, and providing extra educational, networking and mentoring opportunities. PILI Law Student Interns are paid a stipend for their work made possible by a grant made to their host agency. School-year Interns work 200 hours part-time during an academic semester, with PILI ensuring quality supervision by experienced agency attorneys, and providing extra educational, networking and mentoring opportunities. PILI Law Student Interns are paid a stipend for their work made possible by a grant made to their host agency. PILI Graduate Fellowship Program

PILI's Graduate Fellowship Program places new associates from Chicago law firms at legal service agencies across Illinois, where they work 300 hours during the summer or fall before starting at their hiring law firm. This is a unique opportunity to gain lawyering skills, build your professional networks, and do something meaningful while studying for the bar. All prospective Fellows must apply through the online application system after receiving approval from their hiring law firm. PILI Fellows are paid a stipend for their work by their hiring law firm.
