Registration is now open for the "Do-It-Yourself" divorce clinics offered by LAF (Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago). These classes are designed to teach people how to do their divorces on their own, without an attorney. This clinic is meant only for simple divorce cases in which there will be no contested issues. The spouses must be able to agree about division of property and debts, and about all issues related to minor children. This service is available only to those with limited incomes.
