Presented by the Chicago Public Library and The Chicago Bar Association, this program featured a presentation by an experienced attorney about basic issues regarding intellectual property including musical, literary, and artistic works; discoveries and inventions; and words, phrases, symbols, and designs. Common types of intellectual property rights include copyrights, trademarks, patents, industrial and design rights. The seminar will be followed by a question and answer session.
