Representing a mother makes a crucial difference in the life of her child. Volunteers provide pro bono representation for mothers incarcerated or on parole, or children’s caregivers.  Volunteers represent guardians of minors in the Probate Division and represent mothers in the Domestic Relations and Probate Divisions. Volunteers are asked to take one or two cases each year.  Usually volunteers do not need to travel to prisons.

Learn the basics of representing clients in a minor guardianship case.  Contact Zenaida Alonzo at zenaidaalonzo@yahoo.com for more information about volunteering with CLAIM.
