|Speakers:||R. Howard Jump, Chicago Volunteer Legal Services
Mr. Jump discusses how to defend a simple tort case in the Circuit Court of Cook County. He presents useful information on handling a case from beginning to end, including discovery issues, motions to dismiss, settlement negotiations and trial strategies. This presentation is a good introduction for those new to tort cases and a great refresher to those who have not handled a tort case in a while.
